About the role#
This internship program offers a practical look at the manufacturing and packaging industry. You will work within a specific division on projects designed to build your business mindset and understanding of our internal processes. This role serves as a potential pathway toward our Emerging Leaders Program or other entry-level positions after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Support business functions by assisting with Analytics and AI development.
- Identify new opportunities for growth and productivity.
- Create pilot AI use cases, such as machine learning for waste reduction, machine vision, and raw material classification.
- Build standardized business metric reports.
- Act as a primary liaison for our production sites.
- Handle ad-hoc business analytics and analysis requests.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.
- Academic focus in Business Administration, Data Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Computer Science, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Python.
- Practical experience using LLM tools.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and Power Apps.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based in our Charlotte, North Carolina office.
- The schedule is part-time, requiring 20 hours per week.
- Compensation is based on your current year of college enrollment: $18.00 per hour for Juniors and $19.50 per hour for Seniors.
