About the role#
Topel Forman LLC is hiring for a Summer 2027 Tax Internship in Denver. This is a full-time, paid position where you will receive hands-on training from experienced tax professionals. You will work on real compliance projects that benefit our clients and firm. Each intern is paired with a tax supervisor or manager for mentorship, along with a peer buddy to provide support throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Prepare a variety of individual tax returns, including high net worth and multi-state filings.
- Maintain a working knowledge of tax laws and preparation software.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and general accounting duties.
- Identify and communicate tax and accounting issues to senior associates, managers, and partners.
- Prioritize and complete tasks while seeking guidance and feedback.
- Build professional communication skills through business writing and collaboration.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an Accounting major with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Effective communication skills.
- For remote work, you must have an internet connection with at least 100 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speeds.

- Compensation: Paid at $36 per hour.
