About the role#
The Short Drama Team focuses on curating, producing, and localizing high-quality short dramas for the TikTok platform. As a project intern, you will gain professional experience by supporting content research, topic development, and market analysis. This role is a full-time, on-site position based in Los Angeles.
What you'll do#
- Assist the team in developing short drama topics tailored to the U.S. market by analyzing local cultural characteristics and audience preferences.
- Conduct daily research on the U.S. film and television industry, including popular genres, hit works, emerging creators, and policy trends.
- Monitor and track trends on major social media platforms to summarize popular topics, creative formats, and user interaction rules.
- Evaluate U.S. social events and public topics for their potential adaptation into short drama content.
- Organize research materials, compile analysis reports, and provide data support for team meetings.
- Collaborate with the creative team on auxiliary tasks related to content research and planning.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Film and Television Production, Broadcasting and Hosting, Media Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
- Excellent English reading, writing, and comprehension skills to accurately translate and synthesize industry reports.
- Strong research and analytical abilities to organize complex information into actionable insights.
- A proactive work attitude, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Familiarity with the U.S. film and television industry and social media trends is preferred.
- Experience in content creation, topic planning, or market research is a plus.
