Frontend Engineer Intern (Ads Interface and Platform) - 2026 Summer (BS/MS)

About the role#

The Ads Interface and Platform team focuses on building the advertising experience and growth marketing strategies for global clients. This internship offers the opportunity to work on large-scale user systems, AI-driven recommendations, and data-heavy ad platforms. You will contribute to tools that help small and medium-sized businesses connect with their customers.

What you'll do#

• Design, develop, test, and improve TikTok's advertising interface and platform features.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams to define the next generation of ad experiences.
• Manage team project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Provide guidance, feedback, and mentorship to team members.
• Define long-term technical roadmaps and contribute to team-wide technical decisions.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals, including algorithms, data structures, and software design.
• Ability to think critically and formulate clear, concise technical solutions.
• Strong teamwork skills, including effective communication, ownership, and empathy.
• Ability to commit to a 12-week full-time work period during Summer 2026.
• Experience with Advertisement Technology is considered a plus.
