About the role#
The Ads Measurement Signal and Privacy (MSP) team builds security and governance infrastructure for the end-to-end ads system. This role involves developing privacy-enhancing technologies to protect user data while ensuring compliance with global regulations. You will contribute to a 12-week internship program designed to provide hands-on industry experience, professional development workshops, and exposure to real-world technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Build products for signal integration, management, and insights, including in-house solutions and third-party partner integrations.
- Design and maintain scalable technical foundations to manage data collection and ensure data quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, data science, UX, and compliance, to improve measurement capabilities.
- Lead the development of products and processes to address urgent business requirements.
- Identify and implement cutting-edge measurement technologies.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
- Proficiency in at least one coding language, such as Go, JavaScript, Java, or C++.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong sense of ownership and a curious approach to problem-solving.
- Preferred: Experience in the ad domain or with measurement technologies like Web/App tracking, SKAN, PCM, MMP, or Privacy Sandbox.
Location & details#
- Location: San Jose, California (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2026 (12 weeks).
- Compensation: $45 - $60 per hour.
