About the role#
The Monetization Product and Technology team builds platforms that help businesses grow using TikTok. This internship offers students industry exposure and hands-on experience in developing large-scale ad systems. You will work on projects related to feeds, live streaming, branding, measurement, targeting, and business integrity.
What you'll do#
- Participate in the development of a large-scale Ads system.
- Lead the development of state-of-the-art software engineering projects.
- Own key targeting components or strategies within the TikTok ads ecosystem.
- Collaborate with product and business teams to define product vision.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in programming, debugging, and optimization in at least one language such as Go, C/C++, Python, or Java.
- A deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to formulate clear, concise solutions.
- Excellent teamwork skills, including communication, ownership, empathy, and honesty.
