About the role#
The AI Product Operations Intern will join the Content Ecosystem team to support the health and operations of the platform. This role focuses on the data pipelines and governance workflows that power content moderation and large language model (LLM) integration. You will gain hands-on experience in platform governance while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve user and creator experiences.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the daily operations of the large model data pipeline, including data collection, quality checks, and policy alignment.
- Support the team in defining requirements for content moderation rules and participate in discussions regarding the optimization of LLM-related workflows, such as content ingestion and rule application.
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners, including recommendation algorithm, Trust & Safety, and R&D teams, by assisting with information collection, documentation, and feedback communication.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a graduation date between December 2026 and September 2027.
- Ability to commit to a 12-week internship during Summer 2026.
- A basic understanding of or strong interest in large language models (LLMs) and a willingness to learn related tools, such as basic API usage.
- Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly and propose solutions to daily challenges.
- Preferred: Experience in internships related to content moderation, platform governance, or data operations; familiarity with social media platforms; and basic data analysis skills in Excel or Python.
