AI Creative Designer Intern

About the role#

The AI Creative Designer Intern will join the design team to contribute to the user experience of TikTok. This internship provides industry exposure and hands-on experience, allowing students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world design challenges over a 12-week period during Summer 2026.

What you'll do#

• Take ownership of creative concepts and design projects.
• Analyze user feedback and metrics to develop strategies that drive engagement and improve the overall user experience.
• Research aesthetic preferences across different countries, leveraging cultural understanding to support the team in achieving diverse styles.
• Explore initiatives beyond animations, including short video production, physical collectibles, and special effects filters.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Graphic Design, Media Studies, Art, or a related field.
• Experience in motion, virtual, creative, or brand design.
• Proficiency in interaction design and regular use of prototyping tools like Figma.
• A submitted portfolio is required for consideration.
• Interest or experience in AI-related design.
