About the role#
As a Quality Engineer Intern at Ditch Witch, you will join our team in Perry, Oklahoma, for the Summer 2027 program. This full-time, paid internship runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will work on-site to support manufacturing operations and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Follow all facility safety guidelines.
- Assist with manufacturing and Lean operations by participating in problem-solving activities.
- Analyze data to identify trends in manufacturing and assembly issues.
- Review warranty data to track customer satisfaction trends across product lines.
- Work with cross-functional teams to address product nonconformance.
- Audit previous corrective actions to verify their effectiveness.
- Support continuous improvement projects within New Product Development.
- Evaluate testing and inspection processes at the end of the line and during production.
- Identify and document risks related to products or processes.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar degree program.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- A desire to learn new skills and keep up with new technologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to collaborate and build professional relationships within cross-functional teams.
