About the role#
The Finance Intern will join the Global Shared Services team for the Summer 2027 program. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Bloomington, Minnesota. The program runs from May 17, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You must be available for the entire duration of the internship.
What you'll do#
- Support the Accounts Payable team by managing invoice exceptions caused by data issues, shipping delays, or supply chain disruptions.
- Train the artificial intelligence invoice data capture solution.
- Complete a finance project throughout the summer.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to reduce errors and system breakdowns.
- Manage vendor inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns to provide customer service.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Preference for students entering their senior year in Fall 2027 with an expected graduation date in Spring 2028.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail when managing and processing information.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to supporting internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus.
