About the role#
This internship provides college students with hands-on experience in high-end restaurant service. You will work at various signature dining venues across the resort, including Coast, Links, Quarterdeck, and Fraser’s Tavern. The program lasts 14 weeks and includes mentorship from front-of-house supervisors and restaurant managers.
What you'll do#
- Rotate through guest-facing roles in different dining venues.
- Gain practical experience in restaurant operations.
- Develop customer service and communication skills.
- Operate reservation and point-of-sale systems.
- Learn fine dining standards and beverage service basics.
- Build skills in leadership, teamwork, and conflict resolution.
Location & details#
- Location: Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, USA.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Full-time, 32 to 40 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Compensation: Hourly wage plus tips where applicable.
- Housing: Provided, subject to availability.
- Sponsorship: Available for J1 visa candidates.
