About the role#
The Recording Academy is seeking a student for a Fall 2026 internship with the National Member Engagement team. This paid, part-time position offers exposure to music business practices and Recording Academy initiatives. The internship requires a commitment of 20 to 24 hours per week during the semester, with work occurring primarily during regular business hours alongside some evening requirements.
What you'll do#
- Provide administrative support for the Entertainment Law Initiative Writing Contest and related activations.
- Assist with event management for the ELI GRAMMY Week Luncheon.
- Support educational programs, newsletters, and marketing efforts.
- Contribute to advocacy initiatives and membership recruitment.
- Manage databases and perform demographics analysis.
- Assist with general office support tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate/law student.
- One year of course work towards a degree in Communications, Business Administration, Media Studies, or Marketing is preferred.
- A letter from your school confirming you will receive college credit for this internship.
- Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
- Proficient computer and technology skills.
- Ability to lift or move up to 60 pounds and work at a computer for long periods.

- Modality: Remote.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 8, 2026 – December 11, 2026).
- Compensation: Paid at local minimum wage rates based on work location.
