Intern, Membership & Industry Relations (Nashville Chapter)

About the role#

The Recording Academy Nashville Chapter is seeking an intern for the Fall 2026 term. This paid, on-site internship provides exposure to professional recording industry practices through office administration, event management, and artist relations. The position requires 20-24 hours per week for a 12-week period from September 8, 2026, to December 11, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the planning and execution of local chapter events, including some evening and weekend work.
• Support the development and implementation of educational programs.
• Contribute to membership recruitment efforts and the creation of newsletters.
• Manage database records and perform demographic analysis.
• Provide general administrative support for the chapter office.

What you'll need#

• Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student currently enrolled in a college or university.
• Preference is given to students with one year of course work in a related field, such as Business Administration, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Human Resources, or Art.
• Strong verbal, written, and analytical skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• A letter from your school confirming eligibility for college credit for this internship.
• Ability to lift or move up to 60 pounds and work at a computer for extended periods.
