About the role#
The Recording Academy Florida Chapter is seeking an intern for the fall 2026 semester. This paid internship provides exposure to professional recording industry practices, including office administration, event management, and artist relations. The role requires a commitment of 20 to 24 hours per week for a 12-week period. Interns must be able to work during regular business hours, with some availability required for evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with the chapter office on local events and provide assistance with event management.
- Support educational programs and the development of newsletters.
- Assist with membership recruitment efforts.
- Perform database management and conduct demographics analysis.
- Provide general administrative office support.
- Lift or move equipment weighing up to 60 pounds as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university as a junior, senior, or graduate student.
- One year of coursework in a related field, such as Communications, Business Administration, Marketing, or Media Studies, is preferred.
- A letter from your school confirming you will receive college credit for this internship.
- A strong interest in the music industry and a commitment to pursuing a career in the recording arts.
- Proficiency in computer skills and strong verbal, written, and analytical abilities.

- This position is remote, based in Miami, Florida.
- The internship runs from September 8, 2026, to December 11, 2026.
