About the role#
The Artificial Intelligence Accelerator Intern program is a 10-week, part-time opportunity running from October 13th to December 18th, 2026. This role focuses on designing, building, and deploying production-ready AI tools to solve business challenges and improve operational efficiency. You will work across systems to develop practical solutions and create technical roadmaps for long-term impact.
What you'll do#
- Engineer, prototype, and deploy custom AI models and automated tools.
- Review existing architecture and workflows to integrate enterprise AI capabilities.
- Prepare data pipelines and information structures to support scalable model deployment.
- Advise cross-functional teams on AI tool usage, best practices, and prompting techniques.
- Develop strategies and technical roadmaps for AI integration.
- Demonstrate efficiency gains and business outcomes to executive stakeholders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of machine learning principles, including supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, and language modeling.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights.
- Interest in applying AI to solve real-world problems.
- Experience creating applications using LLMs, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, and prompt engineering.
- Experience building AI prototypes or web applications using Python frameworks like Streamlit, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization tools like Docker, and integrating external APIs.
- Basic knowledge of ETL processes, data preprocessing, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- A portfolio of personal AI projects, open-source contributions, or participation in hackathons.
