About the role#
This full-time summer internship provides hands-on experience in agricultural operations. You will support quality and production teams by assisting with planning, data entry, and inventory control. This role is based in Spring Hope, North Carolina, and offers the potential to transition into a full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Sales Teams.
- Oversee material and product inventories to ensure accurate availability.
- Direct truck drivers and confirm correct product loading.
- Support production in D365, including printing tags and managing inventory receipt and consumption.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
- Customer service experience.
- Experience with fresh produce is preferred.
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with growers and customers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of USDA standards and regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to reliably travel to various work locations.
