About the role#
The Stress Testing & Liquidity Management (STLRM) team manages risk for Clearing Members by analyzing credit and liquidity exposures. As an intern, you will contribute to daily and monthly reporting, build analytical tools, and support the team during the transition to our new clearing and risk system, Ovation. This is a year-round, paid internship running from January 2027 through December 2027.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and distribute daily reports on stress exposures related to credit and liquidity risk.
- Execute monthly reporting for the Stress Test Working Group to meet regulatory requirements.
- Develop reporting and analytics to evaluate how specific products are treated in stress testing.
- Automate alerts to identify significant changes in Clearing House and Clearing Member exposure.
- Analyze results and draft detailed summaries of exposures for specific clearing members.
- Help refactor existing reports to support the launch of the Ovation system.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or Engineering (Computer, Electrical, or Mechanical).
- Proficiency in Tableau, Alteryx, Python, SQL, R, and Microsoft Suite.
- Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude.
- A critical mindset for solving complex problems and a willingness to ask questions.
Location & details#
- Location: Dallas, Texas.
- Modality: Hybrid. Employees are expected to work from the office at least 3 days per week, with Tuesday and Wednesday as mandatory anchor days.
- Term: Up to 1,000 hours total from January 2027 through December 2027.
