About the role#
The Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO) intern will monitor, support, and govern EPMO activities. You will contribute to the team by handling daily administrative tasks and performing data analysis to support project controls. This is a full-time, 12-week paid internship for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Perform compliance reviews for projects using the EPMO Gov tool during phase gate transitions.
- Maintain the work request queue by reviewing the EPMO Gov ticketing tool and assigning tasks to the appropriate team members.
- Complete administrative tasks within PMO tools, such as updating project manager assignments.
- Export and analyze data from the EPMO Gov tool to track time in status, identify reported issues, and monitor escalations.
- Assist with additional ad-hoc projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment as a rising senior or second-year graduate student at a college or university.
- Expected graduation date of December 2027 or May/August 2028.
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Business Administration.
- Experience with reporting, Jira, PowerBI, and Planview (PPM).
- Practical experience with data analytics.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Chicago, Illinois.
- The position operates under a hybrid work model, requiring at least 3 days per week in the office, including mandatory anchor days on Tuesday and Wednesday.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
