About the role#
The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking Mechanical Engineering students for our Operations Co-op Program. This program offers hands-on experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. You will gain exposure to Maintenance and Reliability Engineering and Capital Project Management. All co-ops are expected to present their work at the end of each work session.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with Maintenance and Reliability Engineering on plant processes.
- Lead capital projects from the initial design phase through construction.
- Improve the designs of various process equipment.
- Work directly with craftsmen on rotational equipment, including pumps and agitators.
- Gain experience with instrumentation and control systems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Graduation date between December 2028 and May 2030.
- Completion of two co-op terms is required.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week).
- Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.

- Locations: Wickliffe, Avon Lake, and Painesville, Ohio; Deer Park and Bayport, Texas.
- Terms: Spring 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Work modality: On-site.
- This is a paid, full-time position.
