    About the role#

    The Kintock Group offers work-learning experiences within treatment and reentry services. This program is for students preparing to enter the job market in the next 12 to 24 months or those exploring career paths related to the reentry population. You will gain insight into client programs, risk assessments, and the operations of reentry and treatment environments. Assignments include administrative, clinical, and case management areas across federal, state, and community reentry departments.

    What you'll do#

    • Shadow facility operations and observe custody processes.
    • Assist with report writing, filing, and records management.
    • Co-facilitate or conduct one-on-one sessions.
    • Observe and assist with classroom or group sessions.
    • Support risk and clinical assessments.
    • Observe case management, substance abuse programs, and clinical counseling methods.
    • Participate in community engagement activities.
    • Build skills in program development, leadership, ethical decision-making, and case documentation.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or certification program.
    • Pursuit of studies in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Social/Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or Addictions Counseling.
    • Interest in gaining specific experience and skills within these fields.
