    About the role#

    The Kintock Group offers work-learning experiences within treatment and reentry services. This program is for students preparing to enter the job market in the next 12 to 24 months or those exploring careers involving the reentry population. You will be assigned to administrative, clinical, or case management departments. This placement is suitable for internships, practicums, or field placements.

    What you'll do#

    You will observe and participate in the daily operations of our reentry and treatment environment. Tasks include:

    • Shadowing facility operations.
    • Performing filing and records management.
    • Co-facilitating or conducting one-on-one sessions.
    • Leading classroom or group sessions.
    • Engaging in community outreach.
    • Learning about report writing, treatment theory, and the custody process.
    • Observing risk and clinical assessments, case management, and substance abuse programs.
    • Developing skills in program development, leadership, ethical decision-making, and empathy.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or certification program.
    • Interest in gaining experience in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Social/Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, Communications, or Addictions Counseling.
