    About the role#

    The Kintock Group offers work-learning experiences within treatment and reentry services. This program is for students preparing to enter the job market within the next 12 to 24 months or those exploring careers related to the reentry population. You may be assigned to administrative, clinical, or case management areas across federal, state, parole, or community reentry departments. You will gain insight into client programs, risk assessments, and the operations of a treatment environment.

    What you'll do#

    • Shadow facility operations and learn custody processes.
    • Co-facilitate or conduct one-on-one sessions.
    • Observe or assist with classroom and group sessions.
    • Perform filing and records management.
    • Conduct risk and clinical assessments.
    • Engage in case management, substance abuse programs, and counseling methods.
    • Assist with program development and community engagement.
    • Build leadership skills and practice ethical decision-making.
    • Complete case documentation and practice effective written communication.
    • Engage with treatment theory and report writing.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in an accredited college, university, or certification program.
    • Academic focus in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Social or Human Services, Counseling, Psychology, Sociology, or Communications.
    • Interest in gaining experience as an Addictions Counselor candidate (CADC or LCADC).

    • Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
    • Work modality: On-site.
    • This is a paid, full-time internship with a rolling term.
