About the role#
This is a full-time, six-month co-op position based in Hershey, Pennsylvania. You will join the Permanent Secondary Display Merchandising team to work on projects across marketing, sales, retail, supply chain, and finance. You will gain experience in data analytics, creative design, and retail strategy while working alongside professional teams.
What you'll do#
- Analyze data to build selling stories and merchandising insights.
- Manage the weekly display inventory report.
- Oversee website enhancements and the interactive augmented reality display library.
- Lead qualitative and quantitative research projects to identify new merchandising opportunities.
- Run creative design challenges and coordinate with suppliers on display solutions.
- Spend one day each week in the field supporting local Territory Sales Leads to learn the sales process.
- Calculate ROI to support profitable display decisions.
- Assist with customer meetings, including setup and presentations.
- Work across departments including Marketing, Sales, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Packaging.
What you'll need#
- Current college Junior or Senior status.
- Completed sophomore year with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better.
- At least one previous internship.
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint from work, school projects, or internships.
- Prior experience with data analytics.
- A leadership role held within a club, organization, or school.
- A valid driver license in good standing.
- Reliable transportation to perform multiple sales calls per day.
