About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern - Technical Track is part of a structured Summer 2027 internship program. You will work within one of our Operations Services groups, such as Continuous Improvement, Global Quality Assurance, Global Technical Services, or Health, Safety, and Environmental. This role provides exposure to the end-to-end supply chain, including logistics, planning, manufacturing, and sourcing.
What you'll do#
- Implement improvement projects within manufacturing and supply chain operations.
- Develop tools for multi-level data analysis.
- Build quality into manufacturing processes and supporting systems to drive out waste.
- Assist with data collection, integrity, and accuracy for safety and environmental incident reporting.
- Support corporate engineering capital projects and environmental initiatives.
- Learn from a senior engineering mentor.
- Gain project management experience by supervising contractors and managing engineering consultants.
- Interface with plant maintenance, operations, and business leaders.
- Contribute to engineering and delivering process manufacturing systems to the plant floor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 4-year undergraduate degree program in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas and build relationships across the organization.
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to set and achieve goals.
- Aptitude for learning new systems and processes.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Junior or Senior class standing and a GPA of 3.0 or higher are preferred.
- Prior internship experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or engineering is preferred.
