Temple Facilities Assistant (Internship, Guam)

About the role#

The Temple Facilities Assistant internship provides hands-on experience in the maintenance and management of temple facilities, ancillary buildings, and surrounding grounds. This role supports the operational integrity of the Yigo Guam Temple site, including both interior and exterior areas, as well as communication devices and specialized equipment.

What you'll do#

• Support the maintenance and management of temple facilities, equipment, and grounds.
• Assist in the preparation of reports regarding budget management, operational planning, and contracted services.
• Perform additional duties as required to support ongoing temple operations.
• Work proactively and collaborate with various departments to ensure the sacred nature of the facilities is maintained.

What you'll need#

• Hold a valid temple recommend (Required).
• Currently enrolled in a university or have graduated within the past year.
• Pursuing a degree in facility management, communications technology, construction management, business management, or a related field.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Physical and mental capability to perform duties in various indoor and outdoor environments.

Location & details#

• Location: Yigo Guam Temple, Barrigada, Guam.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30.
• Duration: 1-2 months.
• Status: Full-time internship, paid.
