Temple Facilities Assistant (Internship, Guam)

About the role#

This internship provides hands-on experience in the maintenance and management of the Yigo Guam Temple. The role involves supporting the care of interior and exterior temple facilities, ancillary buildings, and surrounding grounds, as well as managing communication devices and related equipment.

What you'll do#

• Support the maintenance and management of temple facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Assist in the preparation of reports regarding budget management, operational planning, and contracted services.
• Perform additional duties as required to support daily temple operations.

What you'll need#

• A valid temple recommend is required.
• Currently enrolled in a university or a recent graduate (within the past year).
• Pursuing a degree in facility management, communications technology, construction management, business management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work proactively and collaborate with other departments.
• Physical and mental capability to perform duties in various indoor and outdoor environments.
• A commitment to maintaining the sacred nature of temple facilities.

Location & details#

• Location: Yigo Guam Temple, Barrigada, Guam.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 08:30 to 17:30.
• Duration: 1-2 months.
• This is a paid, full-time, on-site internship.
