Student Services Representative - BYU-Pathway Worldwide (Part-Time, Student Employee)

About the role#

Student Services Representatives provide support to BYU-Pathway Worldwide students through inbound and outbound communication. This role involves managing student inquiries via email, phone, and video calls, utilizing critical thinking and interpersonal skills to resolve student needs. This is a part-time, student employee position.

What you'll do#

• Assist students with various needs through inbound and outbound support channels.
• Manage casework and respond to student inquiries using phone, email, and video tools.
• Stay informed on policy changes and standard procedures by regularly reviewing the knowledge base.
• Participate in special projects and administrative tasks as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a degree-seeking student at Ensign College, BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU, BYU-Idaho, or BYU-Hawaii.
• High School Diploma, GED, or current enrollment in PathwayConnect.
• Ability to reside and perform work in Utah or Idaho.
• Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to speak clearly and concisely.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and possession of a current temple recommend.

Location & details#

• Work Modality: Remote. Employees must maintain a private, quiet workspace with a computer (excluding Chromebooks) and reliable internet access.
• Hours: Shifts occur Monday through Friday between 6:00 am and 6:00 p.m. Hours may fluctuate based on staffing needs and academic peak times, potentially reaching up to 40 hours per week at the employer's discretion.
