About the role#
This is a part-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term (September–December). The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. Candidates must be members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend.
What you'll do#
- Write captions and descriptions for the For the Strength of Youth Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as the Strive to Be YouTube channel.
- Interview youth from around the world.
- Manage community engagement by responding to YouTube comments.
- Assist with SEO initiatives.
- Adapt long-form content into short-form social media captions.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, or completion of a degree within one year of the internship start date.
- At least one year of college-level writing experience.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think creatively and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
- A sound understanding of Church doctrine and a commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
- Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Media Studies, Business Administration, Psychology, or Sociology.
Location & details#
- This position is located at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah.
- The role is strictly on-site, and interns must be able to work from the office on a regular basis.
