Part Time Paid Intern –Youth Social Media Writer

About the role#

This is a part-time, paid internship for the Fall 2026 term (September–December). The position requires a commitment of 20 hours per week. Candidates must be members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend.

What you'll do#

• Write captions and descriptions for the For the Strength of Youth Instagram and Facebook pages, as well as the Strive to Be YouTube channel.
• Interview youth from around the world.
• Manage community engagement by responding to YouTube comments.
• Assist with SEO initiatives.
• Adapt long-form content into short-form social media captions.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a full-time student at an accredited college or university, or completion of a degree within one year of the internship start date.
• At least one year of college-level writing experience.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
• Ability to think creatively and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and professional communication skills.
• A sound understanding of Church doctrine and a commitment to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
• Preferred majors include Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Media Studies, Business Administration, Psychology, or Sociology.

Location & details#

• This position is located at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City, Utah.
• The role is strictly on-site, and interns must be able to work from the office on a regular basis.
