About the role#
This paid internship serves as an educational opportunity for individuals pursuing a professional career in interior design. You will work alongside teams of experienced draftsmen, planners, outside firms, and project managers to support the development of projects for Headquarters Facilities. This position offers the opportunity to earn NCIDQ hours and build career-specific skills.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the development of projects specific to Headquarters Facilities.
- Update and maintain the current artwork inventory.
- Manage the samples library.
- Collaborate with professional teams on various facility projects.
What you'll need#
- Current junior, senior, or graduate-level student, or a graduate who has completed their degree within the last 12 months.
- Enrollment in a recognized Architecture, Interior Design, Drafting, or related program.
- Experience organizing construction documents.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and supporting technologies.
- Proficiency with the MS Office suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, professional, and self-motivated work habits with the ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Location & details#
- Location: Church Headquarters, Salt Lake City, UT.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 20-28 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm.
- Duration: 12 months.
- Employment Requirement: Applicants must be members of the Church who are worthy of a temple recommend.
