About the role#
The Humanitarian Department is seeking an Instructional Design Intern to support the global mission of the Church. This role focuses on creating learning solutions that strengthen service efforts and reflect gospel principles in action. This is a paid, part-time internship lasting approximately 12 months.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify needs and build engaging, effective instructional materials.
- Assist in organizing resources, managing content updates, and ensuring accessibility across platforms.
- Explore and support e-learning tools and platforms to improve the learning experience.
- Partner with internal teams to align instructional materials with organizational goals and service initiatives.
- Collect feedback, analyze data, and contribute to the continuous improvement of training programs.
What you'll need#
- Current status as a temple-worthy member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
- Enrollment in or recent graduation (within the last year) from a relevant undergraduate or graduate program, such as Human Resources, Graphic Design, Psychology, Political Science, or Communications.
- Strong interest in instructional design, learning and development, or organizational development.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset with an eagerness to learn.
- Familiarity with instructional design principles or e-learning platforms is a plus.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Schedule: 28 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work Modality: Hybrid, with in-office attendance required Monday through Wednesday and remote work on Thursday and Friday.
- Compensation: $23 per hour.
