The Global Wellness Specialist Intern supports the Total Rewards Operations Manager in extending wellness services to Church workforce members worldwide. This 12-month, full-time paid internship focuses on the implementation of wellness strategies, resource coordination, and maintaining relationships with Area HR leaders. You will play a key role in ensuring global teams have the materials and support necessary to address the physical and mental health needs of employees in their respective regions.
What you'll do#
- Support wellness strategies and maintain consistent communication with area leaders to address questions and challenges.
- Respond to requests for wellness resources and materials in a timely manner.
- Develop and adapt wellness content for global audiences, ensuring sensitivity to diverse cultural perspectives.
- Lead virtual workshops on topics such as stress management, nutrition, and mental health.
- Gather utilization data on global wellness services, track engagement, and generate reports on program effectiveness.
- Assist with onsite wellness center operations, including facility maintenance and equipment management.
- Coordinate logistics for virtual wellness programming across international time zones.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled full-time in a bachelor's or graduate program in health promotion, public health, international health, exercise science, dietetics, or a related field, or graduated within the past 12 months.
- Commitment to complete a 12-month internship.
- Strong knowledge of physical and mental health, nutrition, exercise programming, stress management, and behavior change principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple follow-up tasks and relationships simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for virtual presentations and correspondence.
- Ability to work across time zones and adapt schedules to connect with international partners.
- Membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and temple worthiness.
