Functional Analyst Intern

About the role#

This internship involves working with the team responsible for the enterprise digital design system, which provides standards and components for over 100 web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to analyze user needs, improve documentation, and drive the adoption of design standards across the organization.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with designers, analysts, developers, and product teams to maintain and enhance the digital design system.
• Gather and analyze business and user requirements to support system improvements.
• Document standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency across teams.
• Ensure digital products align with accessibility standards and platform best practices for iOS, Android, and the web.
• Collect and report on metrics regarding design system quality, usage, and adoption.
• Use AI tools to streamline workflows, improve documentation, and support the application of design standards.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program, or graduation within the last year.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements and document processes.
• Interest in user experience, accessibility, and digital product development.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with AI tools and experience with design, product management, or collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, or Confluence.
