FamilySearch Talent Intern

About the role#

As an intern on the FamilySearch International Talent and Culture team, you will help capture and represent the voice of the global workforce. You will translate employee feedback into insights that guide leaders and strengthen the employee experience. This role involves supporting strategic talent initiatives, contributing to large-scale events like RootsTech, and engaging in family history research.

What you'll do#

• Support workforce listening efforts, including surveys, focus groups, and interviews.
• Collect, organize, and analyze both quantitative and qualitative data.
• Identify patterns in workforce feedback and translate findings into clear recommendations for leaders and teams.
• Prepare summaries, reports, and presentations to share actionable insights.
• Support the coordination and execution of cross-team projects and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with staffing and planning for special events.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing or recently completed (within 12 months) an undergraduate degree in Data Science, Human Resources, Sociology, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments.
• Interest in employee listening, research, and data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred technical experience includes Excel, Power BI, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with AI tools.
• Ability to connect data to organizational outcomes and synthesize qualitative feedback into themes.
