FamilySearch Paid Advertising Intern

About the role#

FamilySearch International is seeking an intern to join the Paid Advertising team. This role reports to the Paid Advertising Manager and involves working with multiple levels of the organization to support digital advertising initiatives. This is a paid internship opportunity with a maximum duration of one year.

What you'll do#

• Assist with the execution of digital advertising campaigns on platforms including Meta and Google.
• Manage the creative production process for digital advertising images and copy, including gathering feedback, edits, and necessary approvals.
• Support global homeland regions with localized digital advertising, including audience building, campaign setup, and optimization.
• Collaborate with homeland marketing managers, outside agencies, and executive teams to improve advertising performance.
• Create regular performance reports using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Manage translation requests for ad copy and creative assets.
• Help coordinate the relationship and work output of the advertising agency.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Understanding of digital advertising platforms, specifically Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages with limited supervision.
• Experience or education in data analytics tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Adobe Analytics is preferred.
• Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worthy of a temple recommend.

Location & details#

• Location: Lehi, Utah.
• Work Modality: On-site up to four days a week with some flexibility for remote work; occasional on-site meetings required.
• Schedule: Up to 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with flexibility to accommodate school schedules.
• Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled in an educational institution or within one year of graduation and sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
