FamilySearch Marketing/Communications Intern

About the role#

FamilySearch is expanding its messaging to reach diverse audiences and is seeking a communicator to help shape this strategy. You will contribute to the development and execution of marketing and communication plans designed to help patrons worldwide discover, gather, and connect their families. This is a one-year position that involves both independent work and team collaboration.

What you'll do#

• Develop and execute communication and marketing plans for a global audience.
• Assist in writing project plans for various marketing initiatives and activities.
• Manage projects by tracking timelines, deadlines, and results.
• Collaborate with team members to draft presentations and develop marketing concepts.
• Maintain a broad understanding of FamilySearch communication strategies and channels for both internal and external audiences.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ideation and discussions.

What you'll need#

• Current or recent enrollment in a college or university program.
• Academic focus in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
• A strong desire to support the expansion of Family History work.
• Proficiency in project management and a process-oriented mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong data analytics skills and a self-motivated work ethic.

• Location: Lehi, Utah, United States.
• Modality: On-site.
• Term: Summer 2026 (one-year duration).
• Status: Full-time, paid internship.
