Enrollment Counselor - BYU-Pathway Worldwide (Part-Time, Student Employee)

About the role#

The Enrollment Counselor plays a key role in assisting prospective students through the application process and providing guidance on program inquiries. This position also supports enrolled students who are awaiting assignment to a Mentor, ensuring they receive assistance and reassurance during the interim period.

What you'll do#

• Guide prospective students through the application process, ensuring clarity and accuracy at every stage.
• Respond promptly to inquiries from prospective and enrolled students regarding program details and admissions requirements.
• Provide personalized support to enrolled students awaiting Mentor assignments.
• Document all student interactions in detail.
• Utilize the internal Knowledge Base to ensure all information provided is accurate and clear.
• Collaborate with leadership to optimize enrollment processes and improve the student experience.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a CES student at BYU-Pathway Worldwide, Ensign College, BYU-Idaho, Brigham Young University, or BYU-Hawaii.
• Must reside in Utah or Idaho.
• High School Diploma, GED, or current enrollment in PathwayConnect.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
• Ability to empathize with and address the needs of a diverse student population.
• Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worthy of a temple recommend.

Location & details#

• This is a paid, remote, part-time student employee position.
• Work schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm MST.
• Term: Winter 2026.
• Location: Based in Salt Lake City, Utah (Remote work eligibility requires residency in Utah or Idaho).
