About the role#
The Enrollment Counselor serves as a primary point of contact for students navigating their educational journey. This part-time, paid student-employee role focuses on guiding prospective students through the application process and supporting enrolled students who are awaiting mentor assignments. Counselors provide clear, accurate information and personalized assistance to help students achieve their goals.
What you'll do#
- Guide prospective students through the application process to ensure accuracy at every stage.
- Respond to inquiries from prospective and enrolled students regarding program details and admissions requirements.
- Offer personalized support and reassurance to students awaiting mentor assignments.
- Document all student interactions in detail.
- Utilize the internal Knowledge Base to provide consistent and accurate information.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize enrollment processes and improve the student experience.
What you'll need#
- High School Diploma, GED, or current enrollment in PathwayConnect.
- Must be a current student at BYU-Pathway Worldwide, Ensign College, BYU-Idaho, Brigham Young University, or BYU-Hawaii.
- Must reside in Utah or Idaho.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication abilities.
- Ability to empathize with and address the needs of diverse student populations.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worthy of a temple recommend.
Location & details#
- Role is remote, but incumbents must reside in Utah or Idaho.
- Work schedule is 20 hours per week, Monday through Saturday, between 7:00am and 10:00pm MST.
- Term: Summer 2026.
