About the role#
The Enterprise Data & Analytics team is seeking a motivated Data Engineer for an operational support co-op. This role provides hands-on experience building and supporting cloud-based data platforms and pipelines used for enterprise analytics, reporting, and AI/ML solutions. You will work within an Agile environment to maintain data systems and collaborate on technical documentation.
What you'll do#
- Develop and support scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Ingest data from SAP, APIs, databases, flat files, and cloud platforms.
- Build data transformations using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
- Prepare datasets for reporting, AI/ML, and advanced analytics.
- Track pipeline health, monitor platform performance, and resolve data quality issues.
- Perform incident triage and root cause analysis.
- Support Power BI datasets and semantic models.
- Assist with CI/CD deployments and testing.
- Create technical designs, runbooks, and documentation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and stand-ups.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Programming proficiency in Python and/or PySpark.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, or STTM concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure, ADF, ADLS, or Power BI is a plus.
- Exposure to AI/ML, CI/CD, or DevOps is beneficial.

- This is a full-time, paid co-op position based on-site in Camden, New Jersey.
