Business Analyst (Co-op), DA&AI

About the role#

The Business Analyst (Co-op) for the DA&AI team will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in translating complex data into actionable insights while working within an Agile team environment. You will gain exposure to tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, and Agentic AI tools.

What you'll do#

• Capture business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data and analytics teams.
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency, or improved data integration.
• Draft user stories and acceptance criteria within the Agile framework.
• Design source to target maps (STTM) to support development teams.
• Develop Power BI dashboards to help stakeholders track key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure technical solutions meet business requirements.
• Participate in sprint meetings, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Utilize and provide feedback on AI agents to refine model outputs.

What you'll need#

• Current undergraduate or graduate student in Business Analytics, Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
• Basic understanding of data concepts and SQL.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
