Sales and Management Intern

About the role#

The Sales and Management Intern position focuses on delivering an enjoyable shopping experience for guests while gaining practical insight into retail business operations. Interns work closely with the Store Manager to develop an understanding of management responsibilities and store leadership.

What you'll do#

• Greet guests with an engaging attitude and provide service tailored to their needs.
• Recommend and locate merchandise to assist guests with their selections.
• Achieve personal sales-per-hour, average sales, and total net sales goals.
• Perform operational tasks including cashiering, processing freight, maintaining merchandise displays, and routine facility cleaning.
• Complete modules from the Buckle Management Manual covering orientation, leadership, recruiting, and hiring.
• Manage a specific product category by setting sales goals, educating teammates, and tracking results.
• Provide weekly progress reports to the Area and District Managers.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university in a relevant field, such as Business Administration or Marketing.
• An interest in a long-term commitment with the company.

• Location: Sterling, Colorado.
• This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship.
• The role operates on a rolling term basis.
