About the role#
We are looking for a Co-op to join our Engineering team in Breinigsville, Pennsylvania. You will support utilities optimization and continuous improvement initiatives. This position provides hands-on experience in process engineering, cost savings analysis, and project execution. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to identify efficiency opportunities and contribute to operational improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Update and maintain Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
- Calculate utility costs and quantify savings opportunities.
- Analyze utility consumption data to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with operations teams to identify and evaluate savings opportunities.
- Assist with developing business cases for operational and continuous improvement projects.
- Support engineering initiatives and operational start-up activities.
- Maintain project documentation, calculations, and engineering records.
- Prepare reports and presentations summarizing project findings.
- Participate in special projects within the Engineering team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering degree program.
- You must remain enrolled in school after the co-op ends.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret technical information and perform engineering calculations.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Interest in process improvement, manufacturing operations, and sustainability.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid, on-site position based in Breinigsville, PA.
- The program runs from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- You are expected to work on-site five days per week.
