About the role#
The Boston Beer Company is looking for a Quality Co-op to join our team at the Breinigsville Brewery. You will support product quality and continuous improvement efforts across the packaging operation. This role provides hands-on experience in brewery quality systems, product evaluation, and cross-functional collaboration. You will work alongside Quality Assurance professionals, packaging operators, and the Line Structure Team to ensure our products meet company standards.
What you'll do#
- Perform quality checks on products throughout the packaging process.
- Monitor packaging line performance to identify potential quality concerns.
- Collect, document, and report quality data.
- Work with packaging operators and the Line Structure Team to investigate and resolve quality issues.
- Participate in troubleshooting activities and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Support quality improvement initiatives.
- Document quality observations, test results, and production issues.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to Quality Assurance and Operations teams.
- Maintain quality records and support compliance with established procedures.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Must remain enrolled in school after the co-op ends.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate work.
- Excellent documentation and recordkeeping skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to analyze information and solve problems in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our Breinigsville, Pennsylvania brewery.
- The term runs from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- You will be expected to work five days per week on-site.
