About the role#
We are looking for a Packaging Engineering Co-op to join our team in Breinigsville. You will support packaging material specification management, artwork approval workflows, and various project initiatives. This role provides hands-on experience in technical documentation, project justification, and cross-functional collaboration.
What you'll do#
- Create, review, and maintain packaging material specifications to ensure they meet company standards.
- Manage packaging-related documentation and change control processes.
- Support small packaging projects by gathering data, conducting analyses, and assisting with project justifications.
- Evaluate potential packaging improvements, cost savings, and material changes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to carry out project execution.
- Participate in the artwork review and approval process while ensuring technical and regulatory requirements are met.
- Assist in packaging development activities from the initial concept through to implementation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Packaging, Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
- You must remain enrolled in school after finishing this co-op.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with team-based academic or extracurricular projects is a plus.
- A genuine interest in packaging, manufacturing, or consumer goods.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based at our Breinigsville Brewery in Pennsylvania.
- The program runs for 6 months, from January 4, 2027, through June 25, 2027.
- You are expected to work on-site five days per week.
