Real Estate Development Intern

About the role#

As a Real Estate Development Intern at The Boldt Company, you will gain hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of real estate development. Working alongside a collaborative team, you will contribute to projects from initial concept through completion and long-term ownership. This is a paid, on-site internship based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

What you'll do#

• Support key project phases, including client relationship building, entitlements, leasing, financing, design, construction, and transition to asset management.
• Coordinate with consultants and project partners, conduct financial feasibility analyses, and leverage market and economic insights to support underwriting and decision-making.
• Contribute to business development by supporting client pursuits, helping generate leasing opportunities, and maintaining CRM tools to track and advance opportunities.

What you'll need#

• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program with a major in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, including comfortability creating and maintaining relationships through cold and warm phone calls.
• A demonstrated desire and aptitude to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
• Evidence of high academic achievement, with current or prior elected leadership experience preferred.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
