Marketing Intern

About the role#

The Boldt Company is seeking a Marketing Intern to join the team in Wixom, Michigan. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position. The role involves supporting the marketing department through strategic execution, administrative tasks, and event coordination.

What you'll do#

• Collaborate with the marketing team and internal departments to execute marketing strategies.
• Coordinate details for public-facing events, including ground-breakings, ribbon-cuttings, golf outings, community events, and open houses. Note that attendance at some evening and weekend events is required.
• Provide administrative support for customer-facing proposals, presentations, and interview materials.
• Research, write, and edit project case studies and personnel profiles.
• Prepare, format, and edit various documents.
• Strategize, price, and order external giveaways and customer gifts.
• Communicate with internal and external vendors and customers.
• Prepare content and imagery for social media communications.
• Perform physical tasks as required, including moving up to 50 pounds, working in various weather conditions, and visiting construction sites.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Preferred majors include Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or Communications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and the ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Evidence of high academic achievement and prior elected leadership experience is preferred.
• Prior work, internship, or trade experience is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required for business travel, subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Compensation: $21 to $25 per hour, based on relevant experience.
