Project Engineer Intern

About the role#

As a Project Engineer Intern at The Boldt Company, you will work directly with project engineers, superintendents, and craft professionals to support the successful delivery of construction projects. This internship provides hands-on experience in project execution and offers the opportunity to build professional relationships within a collaborative team environment.

What you'll do#

• Assist in gathering, evaluating, and coordinating information to ensure work aligns with contract documents.
• Participate in project planning, safety planning, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination.
• Support key project processes including RFIs, submittals, operations and maintenance manuals, warranties, and project close-out activities.
• Collaborate with team members to gain practical experience in project execution.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior in an accredited undergraduate program.
• Preferred majors include Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Evidence of high academic achievement, with preference given to those with elected leadership experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
