IT Intern

About the role#

As an IT Intern supporting the Information Technology Program Management Office (PMO), you will gain hands-on experience in planning, coordinating, tracking, and reporting on IT work. You will work alongside IT leadership, project managers, and scrum masters to support governance, agile delivery, and executive reporting. This role provides exposure to how enterprise IT programs are delivered within a construction company.

What you'll do#

• Perform Azure DevOps (ADO) backlog audits and hygiene to ensure work items are complete, current, and aligned with PMO standards.
• Provide intake request support and triage to help route, organize, and track new work requests.
• Conduct quarterly portfolio readiness checks to identify missing project owners, outdated status reporting, or projects lacking risks and milestones.
• Support daily standups and agile ceremonies by assisting scrum masters with coordination and follow-ups.
• Maintain Service Management ticket reporting data used for executive dashboards.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment as a Junior or Senior at an accredited college or university, with a preferred major in Business Administration, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Project Management.
• Demonstrated interest in project management, agile delivery, business analysis, or IT leadership.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Location & details#

• This is a full-time, paid internship based on-site at the corporate headquarters in Appleton, Wisconsin.
• The term for this position is Winter 2026.
• Hourly wages range from $21 to $25 per hour, based on relevant previous internship experience.
