Accounting & Finance Intern

About the role#

The Boldt Company is seeking an Accounting & Finance Intern for the Summer 2026 term. This is a paid, on-site position based in Appleton, Wisconsin.

What you'll do#

• Prepare and analyze cost reports.
• Develop, document, and update internal control procedures.
• Prepare general ledger entries and reconciliations.
• Assist with the month-end financial reporting process.
• Execute ad hoc projects as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, with completion of Intermediate Accounting coursework required.
• Concentration in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal instruction while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• A valid driver’s license may be required, subject to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.

• Location: Appleton, Wisconsin.
• Term: Summer 2026.
• Modality: On-site.
• Compensation: $21 to $25 per hour, based on relevant previous internship experience.
• Physical requirements: Ability to remain stationary for up to eight hours, operate standard office equipment, and occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. The role is based in an office environment and may require occasional overtime or weekend work.
