About the role#
The Design Intern will support the team throughout the seasonal design and development process. This role provides hands-on exposure to how apparel collections move from initial concept through development. You will gain practical design skills and learn how a growing lifestyle brand brings its seasonal vision to life.
What you'll do#
- Support the design team with seasonal design and development tasks.
- Assist with CADs, sketches, line sheets, construction details, and other design materials.
- Help prepare and organize information for tech pack development, including bills of materials.
- Participate in seasonal line reviews and cross-functional meetings.
- Organize and maintain design files, samples, submits, lab dips, and other development materials.
- Prepare materials for seasonal presentations and design reviews.
- Partner with designers on day-to-day projects as they arise.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile Design, or a related field.
- Understanding of fundamental apparel design concepts, including garment construction, color, print, and pattern.
- Generally, more than six months but less than one year of relevant work or school experience.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site position based at our headquarters in Lexington, Kentucky.
- The internship is scheduled for Fall 2026.
- This is a paid position.
