Tax Summer Intern

About the role#

TG Kentucky, LLC is seeking a Tax Summer Intern to join the finance team in Troy, Michigan. This full-time, paid internship provides exposure to the standard operations of a corporate tax department, including federal and state tax return preparation and document filing processes.

What you'll do#

• Assist the tax management team with fixed asset calculations.
• Help prepare state apportionment schedules.
• Support additional tasks within the tax and finance departments as assigned.

What you'll need#

• Completion of at least two years of undergraduate studies, including an introduction to accounting.
• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field (coursework in Tax is preferred).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
